Irrigation
The 70% of the world's fresh water consumption is destined for agriculture. For this reason, preserve the water resource is very important and must be guaranteed throughout the system development, from collection or accumulation, to the final delivery to irrigation users. The valves play a fundamental part in the dynamics of the system and since they are often in contact with raw water containing suspended material, which causes deposits and encrustations, they must offer the maximum reliability over time, with particular attention to the quality of the materials they are made of. To meet these needs, Saint-Gobain PAM has designed a range of specific irrigation solutions, such as the reliable EUROSTOP LC butterfly shut-off valves with painted seal seat, or the robust spindle control valves manufactured at the Italian plant in Lavis (TN).
